This Blog is Not Dead

 There just haven't been too many things I want to watch. Remember; I'm not a real big TV person. 

There's another book review in the pipeline if I can stop rolling my eyes long enough to get through all 1000 pages. 

I can at least give you an oversight on the 2 movies I have watched since August;

 

Oh yes, and the one show. I'll lead with the show; "Harley Quinn" on HBO Max / DC Universe / Whatever is damn good.

The End of An Era

This (okay, last) week is important.

Last week is the first since January 2015, that I haven't watched a movie.

I wanted to see - Could it be done? It has. It feels freeing not to be tied down to a self-imposed challenge, especially when it starts being a chore. I have other stuff to do, stuff that will help me get a job and especially relocate.

Don't expect many movie reviews in August - The only sure fire one is our monthly documentary and Crazy Rich Asians & possibly Operation Finale - but we're not totally movieless over here.

I'm going to look back through my notes for 2017, and see what other movies I can talk about - because there are some I really want to talk about. Check for the Film in 2017 tag.

As for liveblogs, there is a series I really want to liveblog, but I need a Hulu subscription because it just isn't anywhere else.

The Last Airbender Recaps

Hi, all five people who read this blog.

The Avatar Recaps have not stopped. In fact, one of them was posted but, since I initially published it back in Jan, it reverted back to that date instead of being posted 'at the top', so to speak - but I do need to find a better way to review them. It's a hell of a lot different than reviewing Ever After High, there's weird things like consistency and plot in Avatar.

It's hard to parse down exactly what relevant information should be shared when it's all pretty important, especially when I can't speak quickly in a video and have to type and screenshot.

Would you like something rather drawn out? Or a bit more condensed?

December 2017 - January 2018

Since we're almost done with recapping Ever After High, let me tell you what I plan to do in the future;

• December 11th is Golden Globes Nomination Day. I'll talk about that.
• I have a very long "2017 in Film" review post in progress.
• I am taking a very important test at the end of January, so expect maybe scattered updates for a while.
• I am...considering doing the same kind of watchthrough for Monster High. Thing is, it will probably be a lot more condensed into storylines, as the episodes are much shorter and easier to parse. 
• The available movies can also be included in this.
