She Ra and The Princesses of Power by Netflix E1/E2

So, a reboot. I never saw the original.

This is beautiful.

The character designs...it took some getting used to. There are some moments of oddness with movement.





I expected to be annoyed by Adora, love Catra, and be indifferent to the other characters.

Surprisingly, my favorite character so far is the only slightly bigger than average purple teleporting Princess Glimmer.

Bow is nifty too! Glimmer is the only character that doesn't look really awkward when still.

Also half of the time, I was listening to these characters going "They sound familiar?"

Glimmer is Karen Fukuhara ("Suicide Squad") and Bow is Marcus Scribner ("Black-ish"), Adora is Aimee Carrero ("Elena of Avalor", which is surprisingly underrated), and possibly greatest of all is AJ Michalka from the pop duo Aly and AJ / 78Violet (Potential Breakup Song).

Second episode is a little slow but otherwise enjoyable when Adora takes her stand and fights For the Power of Greyskull.
