Sonic Triple Trouble 16-Bit by NoahNCopeland

What if Sonic Triple Trouble had been originally released on the Sega Genesis / MegaDrive, after Sonic 3 & Knuckles?

I've been on a ROM Hack kick. First Crystal Clear, and now this. I've never played the original Triple Trouble, and I don't even know the general idea of it. But when this came across my timeline, I decided to see if I could give it a spin.

This is not a recreation of the original game for newer devices (to my knowledge - Again, never played the original) - but a totally new game using the characters and general idea. I tought it was a reskin until I saw some new spritework (and read that it took a whopping 5 years)

Much like the Taxman and Stealth unofficial remakes of Classic Sonic that SEGA themselves approved of (They made Mania!), this has the quality and style of the Classic games. The backgrounds are lovely, the zone theming is spot on, and the music is fabulous.

Water level music never lets us down.

Available for Windows here.

The Animal Crossing Villager Birthday Conundrum

 Fun fact:

Animal Crossing villagers have birthdays. Most people don't know that.

So what happens when the player character shares a birthday with a villager?

I share a birthday with Marcel (Dec. 31) so I got to live this out firsthand recently:

Things About Animal (Crossing)

I've played this series since the first entry on the Gamecube - Though, savvy gamers will know that Japan had it first on the Nintendo 64 called "Animal Forest".

Nearly 20 years later, it's still going relatively strong. I've tried the mainline games, and never bothered with Pocket Camp or Happy Home Designer or that silly Mario Party-esque one.

Now, thanks to a very kind benefactor, I have Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Switch, and have had it for a month.

There's nothing to review - You do what you want. But there are things to like and dislike.

I like the lighting and views at different times of day.
