Chapter 4: A Tale of Two Parties / Piping Hot Beats

These recaps are going to get horrendously shorter. There's really not much to these last few webisodes besides 'Uh ho, switcharoo or subversion of expectations!'.

A Tale of Two Parties starts us off with a new song and a new intro!

Ashlynn and Holly attempt a daring costume change in an effort to attend two theme parties on the same night and avoid Faybelle's wicked curse.

You'll notice that said intro replaces Briar with Cedar. Only one token at a time, I guess.

(This is a little delayed because I thought there was only one more post to go instead of this + the finale. My bad!)

Well, Ashlynn, Holly, Poppy, and Farrah are getting ready. Ashlynn talks about going to Hunter's forest Birthday Party, but the other two are going to "The Faybelle Formal."

It's not even her birthday, it's just a party to celebrate her.

"Come spellebrate all things Faybelle at this enchanting - and mandatory - event."
The best girl, everyone!

So this dress didn't get released into the physical realm

but Ashlynn's ugly 2 in 1 dress did.

Look, you know what's going to happen for 90% of this episode, so allow me to just point out things I took notice of.

Muffet is back!

Since it's been kind of hinted at that that there's a lot of BYOD crossover, I wonder if there's like a Mirrornet telephone system that just downloaded contact files of everyone in school. Because I can't see why Holly would talk to her otherwise.

I never noticed the ice sculpture lol.

#TBT to when I helped almost bring about the end of the world as we know it.

The quartet of girls end up giving the game away, but they tell Faybelle there's a carousel at the other party and all is well.

Piping Hot Beats

Melody Piper may be in a turntable of trouble if she can't control her music and stop a spell that has caused the entire school to dance uncontrollably!

It's actually a pretty kicking song she curses everyone with. All of the music related to Melody is pretty cool.

Her school project was just to enchant a mouse to find cheese but she goes overboard.

She doesn't get an introduction because she's just one note.

Her curse backfires and no one in the school can stop dancing, which is funny because Grimm can't stop doing the moonwalk.

There's literally a dance party ending. Wow, that was a remarkably short recap because again, it's just...nothing's happening anymore. Mattel's donezo.
