Not original like High School Musical was (well, it wasn't but it did it's job well enough) or filled with nostalgia factor like Disney's Descendants to really be worth watching.
The kids are not bad, it's just such a trite, hamfisted story. There's a fair amount of diversity, but the story is still focused on white kids so eh.
The choreography is really fabulous though, and everyone can dance, which is something I can't say about Descendants.
